Takeout Boxes
Custom takeout boxes with a leak and grease-resistant lining that hold heat, close securely, ship flat, and suit any menu item.
Product Overview
A takeout box is the workhorse of any restaurant that sends food out the door. It has to handle almost anything on the menu, wet or dry, hot or cold, saucy or crumbly, and still arrive tidy after a bag ride across town. That means it needs a leak and grease-resistant inside, walls that hold heat, and a fold that closes securely so nothing spills. Because kitchens go through them by the case, it also has to store flat, open fast during a rush, and stack neatly on the shelf. A flimsy box that leaks or collapses turns a good meal into a bad review.
Our custom takeout boxes are built to do all of that across your whole menu. In short:
- Leak and grease-resistant lining
- Holds heat on the trip home
- Secure fold that will not pop open
- Ships and stores flat, folds up fast
- Sizes from sides to full mains
- Full-color branding, kraft or white board
Behind every Packlic box is one of six carefully sourced substrates: Kraft Board, Corrugated Board, Coated Art Board (C1S), Rigid Greyboard, Solid Bleached Sulfate (SBS), and Metallic Board. The lineup covers everything a brand might need, recyclable kraft for artisan and sustainability-led ranges, thick greyboard for luxury rigid boxes, and clean virgin-fibre SBS for cosmetics, pharma, and premium retail. Whether the goal is a budget-friendly corrugated mailer or the confident heft of a magnetic-closure rigid box, we specify FSC-certified stock built to perform on the shelf, in transit, and when the customer lifts the lid.
A considered finish is the difference between packaging that is seen and packaging that sticks in memory. Our menu runs from soft-touch matte and high-gloss lamination to silk lamination, spot UV, gold and silver foil stamping, embossing, debossing, and aqueous coating. Spot UV adds a gloss-on-matte contrast that guides attention to your logo, and soft-touch lamination gives rigid boxes a velvety feel that reads as quality on contact. Foil stamped onto SBS or coated art paper lands the crisp metallic detail luxury cosmetic, fragrance, and gifting brands use to justify premium prices and fuel share-worthy unboxings.
The feel of your packaging and its durability in transit both trace back to paper weight, which we offer from lightweight 8pt up to heavyweight 28pt on the point system US and UK packaging suppliers use. Lightweight 8pt–12pt is well suited to folding cartons and high-volume retail boxes. Mid-range 14pt–18pt is the workhorse of retail packaging, balancing protection against economical shipping. Heavyweight 20pt–28pt supplies the rigid, substantial character essential to luxury gift boxes, rigid set-up boxes, and premium cosmetic packaging, where the weight of the box communicates quality the instant it is picked up.
Custom Takeout Boxes Built for Every Item on Your Menu
The takeout box is the one piece of packaging almost every restaurant needs, and it has the hardest job. A single box style has to cope with a menu that swings from a dry stir-fry to a saucy curry, from a hot main to a cold salad, and it has to survive being stacked in a bag, carried, driven, and set down before anyone opens it. If the lining soaks through, the fold pops open, or the walls go soft, the food arrives leaking and cold and the customer blames the restaurant, not the box. That is why the humble takeout box deserves real thought: it is the last thing your kitchen touches and the first thing your customer sees.
Built to hold any meal
The whole value of a good takeout box is versatility, so we build ours to carry almost anything on a menu. Sturdy board walls and a stable base hold rice, noodles, curries, grills, salads, and sides without sagging, and a range of depths means the same clean box style works for a light side or a heaped main. One consistent box across your menu keeps your packaging simple to order and your brand looking uniform, whatever the customer picks. It also means your team is not juggling a dozen different containers on a busy night, which cuts mistakes and speeds up the pass.
Leak and grease-resistant
Sauce and grease are what ruin most takeaways in transit, so we line our boxes with food-grade, grease and moisture-resistant board that holds up to wet, oily food. The lining keeps sauces off the outside of the box and out of the delivery bag, so a curry or a saucy noodle arrives contained rather than seeping through. That protection is the single biggest thing standing between a good delivery and a refund request.
Keeps food hot on the way
Customers judge delivery on whether the food is still hot, so the box has to help. Our board walls insulate to hold heat on the drive, and closed-top styles trap warmth so a main does not go lukewarm before it reaches the door. Where a dish needs to breathe, we can add or leave vents so fried items stay crisp instead of steaming soft, matching the box to what is going inside it.
Ships and stores flat
A busy kitchen has no room for bulky pre-formed boxes, so ours arrive flat and pop up in a second. Flat delivery slashes your shipping and storage cost because you are not paying to move air, and a wall of flat boxes takes up a fraction of the shelf space. During a rush, a box that folds up in one motion keeps the pass moving instead of fumbling with awkward packaging.
Sturdy enough for delivery
Delivery is rough on packaging, so we build with rigid board and a secure closing fold that will not pop open in the bag. The box holds its shape when it is stacked under other orders, and the closed top keeps the contents in place if the bag tips. That structural strength is what lets a customer lift the lid on a meal that looks exactly as it did when it left the kitchen.
Sizes and formats
Takeout comes in every size, so we build for the whole menu:
- Small boxes for sides and starters
- Medium boxes for single mains
- Large and deep boxes for sharing dishes
- Closed-top styles for hot, saucy food
- Vented styles for fried and crisp items
- Kraft or white board with your branding
Branding and sustainability
A takeout box travels through the neighborhood and sits on a customer's table, so it is one of the best ad spots you own, and we print full color with your logo, menu, or QR code for repeat orders. Because takeaway packaging is high volume and increasingly judged on waste, recycled and FSC-certified board, plant-based liners, and water-based inks are available for a lower-impact box. Takeout boxes anchor our wider food and restaurant packaging range and pair with our noodle boxes and fry containers for a menu that ships as one brand.
