Terms & Conditions
Last updated July 15, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Packlic website and any order you place with Packlic (“Packlic”, “we”, “us”, “our”) for custom packaging, printing, design and related services. By requesting a quote, approving a proof, or placing an order, you (“you”, “the Client”) agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Quotes & orders
All prices are provided as written quotes based on the specifications you supply (product, dimensions, material, quantity, printing and finishing). Unless stated otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days and may change if your specifications, quantities or material costs change. An order is confirmed only once you accept a quote in writing (including by email) and we receive the agreed deposit.
2. Custom, made-to-order products
Almost everything we produce is custom-made to your exact specification and artwork. Custom packaging is manufactured specifically for you and, unlike stock goods, cannot be resold or returned once produced. This affects cancellation and refund rights — see Section 5.
3. Artwork, design & proof approval
- Your artwork. You are responsible for supplying print-ready artwork or a clear brief. Our in-house design team can prepare dielines, layouts and print-ready files as part of our service.
- Proofs. Before production we provide a digital proof and/or a 3D mockup. It is your responsibility to check spelling, artwork, dimensions, barcodes, colours and layout carefully. Production begins only after you approve the proof in writing, and your approval is final. We are not liable for errors present in an approved proof.
- Colour. Printed colours may vary slightly from what you see on screen and between production runs due to the nature of printing, materials and finishes. For critical colour matching, request a physical sample or a Pantone reference before approving.
4. Pricing & payment
- A deposit is required to begin work. The balance is due before dispatch unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Prices exclude any applicable taxes, import duties, customs fees and delivery charges, which are your responsibility unless expressly included in your quote.
- Quantities are priced per the agreed run; changes to quantity or specification after ordering may change the price and lead time.
5. Deposits, cancellations & refunds
Because our products are custom-made, the following applies to cancellations and refunds:
- Before production begins: if you cancel your order before we have started production, you may receive a refund of 75% of the amount paid. We retain 25% to cover design, prepress, dielines, proofing, procurement and administrative work already carried out on your behalf.
- Once production has started: all payments are non-refundable and the order cannot be cancelled. At this stage materials have been committed, cut, printed and produced to your custom specifications and cannot be repurposed or resold.
“Production” is deemed to have started once your proof is approved and your job has been released to our production floor (including plate/screen preparation, printing or material cutting). If you are unsure whether production has begun, contact us at order@packlic.com before cancelling.
6. Production & lead times
Lead times quoted are estimates in good faith and run from the date of proof approval and cleared payment. While we work hard to meet every deadline, we are not liable for delays caused by late approvals, changes to your order, supplier or courier delays, customs, or events outside our reasonable control (see Section 12).
7. Quantity tolerance
As is standard in custom print manufacturing, production runs may vary by up to ±10% of the ordered quantity. We will invoice for the quantity actually delivered within this tolerance. If you require an exact minimum quantity, please tell us before ordering.
8. Shipping & delivery
We produce and ship worldwide. Title and risk of loss pass to you once the goods are handed to the carrier. Any import duties, taxes or clearance fees at the destination are your responsibility. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
9. Inspection, defects & reprints
Please inspect your order on arrival and notify us of any manufacturing defect or shortage within 7 days of delivery, with photos where relevant. For genuine manufacturing faults on our part, we will, at our discretion, reprint the affected items or issue a fair credit. Minor variation in colour, cut, finish, or quantity within the tolerances described above is not considered a defect. Approved-proof errors, artwork supplied by you, and normal variation are not eligible for reprint.
10. Intellectual property
- Your rights. You retain ownership of the artwork, trademarks, logos and brand assets you provide. You grant us a limited licence to use them only to fulfil your order.
- Your warranty. You confirm that you own or are licensed to use all artwork and content you supply, and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights. You agree to indemnify Packlic against any claim arising from artwork you provide.
- Our rights. Dielines, templates, structural designs, tooling and production files we create remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Our website content, photography and branding are owned by Packlic.
11. Confidentiality & NDA
We treat your designs, artwork, product information and order details as confidential and use them only to provide our services. We do not share your artwork or brand assets with any party other than those needed to produce and deliver your order. If your project requires it, we are happy to sign a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before you share sensitive materials — just ask your account contact.
12. Samples & mockups
Digital mockups and 3D renders are provided to help you visualise your packaging and may differ from the final printed product. Physical pre-production samples are available on request and may carry a cost and additional lead time.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Force majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, war, epidemics, material shortages, utility or logistics failures, or government action.
15. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws applicable to the Packlic entity that accepts your order, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that location, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place your order applies to that order. The latest version is always published on this page.
