Custom Food Packaging
Custom food boxes with a grease-resistant lining and secure close that suit any dish, hot or cold, across your whole menu.
Product Overview
Food boxes are the versatile all-rounder of food packaging, the go-to box for any meal, snack, or dish that needs a clean, sturdy container. A good food box works across a whole menu: it holds hot and cold food, resists grease and moisture, closes securely for transport, and folds flat for easy storage. Because it is used for everything from a deli lunch to a hot main to a snack, it has to be adaptable in size and style while keeping a consistent, branded look. Whether you run a cafe, a deli, a food truck, or a catering line, a well-made food box gives you one reliable, on-brand container for the whole range.

The material is where a box earns its reputation, so we build on six industry-grade stocks: Kraft Board, Corrugated Board, Coated Art Board (C1S), Rigid Greyboard, Solid Bleached Sulfate (SBS), and Metallic Board. Each answers a different brief, eco-friendly kraft suits artisan and sustainable brands, dense greyboard carries luxury rigid boxes, and virgin-fibre SBS gives cosmetics, pharma, and premium retail their crisp finish. Need economical corrugated mailers, or the substantial feel of a magnetic-closure rigid box? Either way the FSC-certified stock we select is made to perform on shelf, in transit, and at unboxing.
How a box is finished decides whether it gets noticed or gets remembered. Choose from soft-touch matte lamination, high-gloss lamination, silk lamination, spot UV coating, gold and silver foil stamping, embossing, debossing, and aqueous coating. Spot UV lays a glossy accent over a matte field so your logo catches the light first. Soft-touch lamination wraps rigid boxes in a velvety texture that signals quality the moment they are handled. And foil stamping on SBS or coated art paper brings the sharp metallic shine that cosmetic, fragrance, and gifting brands lean on to support premium pricing and create unboxing moments worth sharing.
Choose the paper weight and you decide both the hand-feel of the box and how well it holds up through the supply chain. Our range covers lightweight 8pt to heavyweight 28pt on the point system standard among US and UK packaging suppliers. Reach for 8pt–12pt on folding cartons and high-volume retail boxes; lean on the 14pt–18pt mid-range as the everyday workhorse, protective yet economical to ship. When a project calls for presence, 20pt–28pt gives the rigid, substantial feel behind luxury gift boxes, rigid set-up boxes, and premium cosmetic packaging, where the weight of the box telegraphs quality before it is even opened.
Custom Food Boxes: One Versatile Container for the Whole Menu
Not every dish needs a specialized box. A huge amount of food service runs on the humble, versatile food box, the general-purpose container that has to handle whatever the kitchen puts in it. That flexibility is exactly what makes it valuable and what makes it demanding to get right. One food box style might carry a warm deli lunch in the morning, a hot main at midday, and a snack in the afternoon, so it has to cope with hot and cold, wet and dry, light and heavy, all while staying grease-resistant, closing securely, and looking consistently on-brand. For a cafe, deli, food truck, or caterer, having one reliable, adaptable food box across the menu simplifies ordering, cuts waste, and keeps the brand looking uniform. A well-designed food box is the workhorse that quietly makes a food business run more smoothly.
Handles any dish
The core value of a food box is versatility, so we build ours to carry almost anything on a menu. Sturdy board walls and a stable base hold everything from a light salad to a heaped hot main without sagging, and a range of depths means the same clean box style works for a snack or a full meal. One adaptable box across your range keeps your packaging simple to order and your brand looking uniform, whatever a customer picks.
Grease and moisture-resistant
A general-purpose box has to cope with saucy and greasy food as easily as dry, so we line ours with food-grade, grease and moisture-resistant board. The lining keeps oil and sauce from soaking through the walls and into the bag, so a saucy dish is contained just as well as a sandwich. That resistance is what lets a single box style work across a whole varied menu, rather than needing a different, flimsier box for the wetter items.
Secure and transportable
Food boxes get carried, stacked, and delivered, so ours close securely and hold their shape. A reliable closing fold keeps the box shut so the contents do not spill, and the rigid board protects the food from being crushed in a bag with other orders. That means a food box arrives at the table or the desk looking as good as it did at the counter, which is the baseline a customer expects however simple the dish.
Holds heat where needed
Because food boxes often carry hot food, we build with board that insulates to hold warmth on the journey, and we can add or leave vents depending on the dish. Closed styles keep a hot main warm, while venting keeps fried items crisp, so the same versatile box can be specified to suit whatever tends to go inside it. That adaptability means your general-purpose box still delivers food at its best rather than settling for lukewarm and soggy.
Sizes and styles
Menus span a lot of portions, so we build the full range of food boxes. Small boxes suit sides, snacks, and starters, medium boxes fit single meals, and large boxes cover sharing dishes and mains, in closed or vented styles. Because they all share one clean design language, you can run a whole menu on a consistent family of boxes, which keeps ordering simple and your brand looking deliberate across every item you serve.
Formats and options
Food box needs vary widely, so we build for each:
- Small boxes for sides and snacks
- Medium boxes for single meals
- Large boxes for sharing and mains
- Closed styles for hot, saucy food
- Vented styles for fried and crisp items
- Recycled and FSC-certified board options
Branding and sustainability
A food box is used constantly and seen everywhere your food goes, so it is prime, high-frequency brand space, and we print full color with your logo, menu, or QR code for a container that markets you with every order. Because food packaging is high volume and increasingly judged on waste, recycled and FSC-certified board, plant-based liners, and water-based inks are available for a greener box. Food boxes anchor our wider food and restaurant packaging range and pair with our takeout boxes and kraft food boxes for a complete lineup.
