Tincture Boxes
Custom tincture boxes with snug inserts that hold dropper bottles upright and steady, in light-blocking board that protects what is inside.
Product Overview
A tincture is a small glass bottle of valuable oil, and both parts are easy to get wrong in packaging. The bottle is fragile and top-heavy with its dropper, the oil inside loses strength in light, and the label has to carry dosing and lab details in a very small space. A loose or flimsy box puts all of that at risk.
Our custom tincture boxes are built to hold the bottle still and protect what is in it. We fit an insert to your exact bottle so it cannot tip or rattle, use board that blocks light, and plan the dosing and compliance details into the artwork, so your tincture reaches the customer intact, full strength, and clearly labeled.
Choosing the substrate is the first decision on any project, and we keep six on hand: Kraft Board, Corrugated Board, Coated Art Board (C1S), Rigid Greyboard, Solid Bleached Sulfate (SBS), and Metallic Board. From compostable kraft for artisan and eco brands, to solid greyboard for luxury rigid boxes, to vivid SBS for cosmetics, pharma, and premium retail, there is a grade for every use. Ordering economical corrugated mailers or a magnetic-closure rigid box with real weight to it? Both start from the same pool of FSC-certified materials, selected to look sharp on shelf, ship safely, and land well at unboxing.
Finishing is where a box makes its impression, and we bring every technique to the table: soft-touch matte lamination, high-gloss lamination, silk lamination, spot UV coating, gold and silver foil stamping, embossing, debossing, and aqueous coating. Use spot UV for a gloss-on-matte contrast that pulls focus to your logo, or soft-touch lamination to wrap a rigid box in a velvety feel that reads as premium before it is opened. Foil stamping on SBS or coated art paper supplies the crisp metallic detail cosmetic, fragrance, and gifting brands rely on to support premium pricing and earn unboxing moments worth sharing.
Weight is the quiet detail that decides how a box feels and how it travels, so we carry every option from lightweight 8pt to heavyweight 28pt, graded on the point system shared by US and UK suppliers. Lightweight 8pt–12pt fits folding cartons and high-volume retail boxes neatly. The 14pt–18pt mid-range is the workhorse of product packaging, protective where it counts, still economical to ship. Heavyweight 20pt–28pt gives the rigid, substantial feel that luxury gift boxes, rigid set-up boxes, and premium cosmetic packaging demand, where the heft of the box signals quality before it is even opened.
Custom Tincture Boxes That Protect the Bottle and the Oil
Tinctures ask a lot of a small box. The bottle is glass, it is top-heavy because of the dropper, and the oil inside is sensitive to light and worth protecting. On top of that, tinctures carry some of the tightest labeling in CBD, all of it squeezed onto a small footprint. A box that just wraps the bottle misses most of the job.
An insert that holds the bottle
The first thing a tincture box has to do is stop the bottle moving. We build an insert or partition fitted to your exact bottle, so it stands upright, does not tip onto its dropper, and cannot rattle against the walls or other bottles in a multipack. That snug hold is what keeps glass from chipping and cracking between our floor and the customer's shelf.
Light protection for the oil
Tincture oils lose potency in light, which is why so many come in amber or cobalt glass. The box adds a second layer of defense. Opaque, heavier board keeps light off the bottle while it sits in storage, on a shelf, or in transit, so the product stays closer to full strength for longer. For extra protection we can use darker interior printing or a lined finish.
Bottle sizes we fit
Tinctures come in a narrow but varied set of bottle sizes, and fit is everything, so we build to yours rather than a stock tray. Common sizes include 15ml, 30ml, 1oz, and 2oz dropper bottles, plus larger or custom formats, and we cut the insert to match the exact diameter and height so nothing shifts.
Box styles for tinctures
The right style depends on your price point and whether you sell singles or sets:
- Tuck-end boxes with a fitted insert for everyday retail
- Two-piece rigid boxes for premium and gift lines
- Sleeve and tray sets for a considered unboxing
- Window boxes that show the bottle and label
- Multipack boxes with partitions for bundles and starter sets
- Kraft boxes for a natural, wellness look
Dosing, lab links, and child-resistance
Tincture buyers read the box closely, because dosing is the whole point. We plan clear space for the strength per bottle and per serving, the drops-to-milligrams guide, the full ingredient list, and a batch number with a QR code to the certificate of analysis. Where a tincture is treated as a child-resistant product, we can build the box or an inner to meet recognized CR standards while still opening easily for an adult.
Printing and finish
Tinctures sit in a trust-driven, wellness space, so the box should feel calm and credible rather than loud. We print full color for clean, minimal branding or botanical imagery, and add finishes like soft-touch lamination, foil, and embossing where a more premium feel suits the price. Restraint tends to read as quality here.
Pair it with your wider range
Tincture boxes sit within our wider CBD packaging range, so an oil line can share one look across products. They pair naturally with our dropper bottle boxes and CBD oil boxes, so a full oils range lands with one consistent brand.
